Questions buyers askbefore the demo.

Straight answers on scope, access, corrections, compliance, billing, and setup. If something here is not covered, contact us and we will answer it directly.

Fit

Who is Bastrion for?
Private security companies running manned guarding, static site, patrol, and event contracts, where shift reports and incident records are delivered to clients and need to survive review.
How small an operation does this suit?
It is built for companies holding multiple contracts with supervisors reviewing officer work. A single-guard operation will find it heavier than it needs.

Clients

Can our clients log in?
Yes. Each client organisation gets a portal account scoped to its own contracted sites, showing approved reports, released incidents, summaries, documents, and issued invoices.
Can clients see internal review activity?
No. Review notes, correction history, quality findings, and internal notifications never appear in the client portal.

Reporting

Can reports be corrected after submission?
Yes. A supervisor returns the report with a written reason, the officer corrects it, and both the original and the correction remain part of the record.
Do incidents support attachments?
Yes. Photos and supporting files attach to the incident or entry they belong to, with the officer and time recorded against them.
Are reports structured or free text?
Structured. Templates set the fields and required detail per site, so reports arrive complete instead of being chased the next morning.

Compliance

Can we manage compliance items in the platform?
Yes. Licences, permits, training, and onboarding stages are tracked per officer, with expiry reminders and a readiness view of who is deployable.

Commercial

Do invoices and billing exist inside the platform?
Yes. Plan details, seat counts, and invoice history with line items sit in the company workspace, and released invoices can be surfaced to client accounts.
How does pricing scale?
Reporting starts at $199 per month and Platform at $499 per month, scaling by active users, organisation size, or agreed operational volume. Enterprise terms are quoted against your contract book.

Automation

Is the AI a chatbot?
No. Quality review runs in the background against your own rules, flagging vague wording, timeline gaps, and missing detail to supervisors. Officers receive a normal correction, and clients only see the finished summary.

Getting started

How does setup work?
Setup is a deployment, not a wizard. You configure the company profile, sites, templates, team, client portals, and compliance rules, then a readiness checklist separates hard blockers from advisories before launch.
How long does it take to go live?
That depends on your site count and template complexity. Most of the work is agreeing what a report must contain; the configuration itself is quick once that is settled.

Support

How support reaches an operational team.

In-platform support desk
Administrators raise tickets from inside the workspace, with the affected record attached. Ticket history stays on the account so nothing depends on a single inbox.
Operational escalation
Issues that block reporting during a live shift are escalated on the same day. Escalation targets are set by plan and confirmed in the agreement.
Before you are a customer
Evaluation questions, security reviews, and procurement paperwork go through the contact page and are answered by a person, not a queue.
Status and notices
Planned maintenance and material platform changes are announced through the in-platform notice system ahead of time.
